This course covers the methods for infection control and preventing transmission. Those who complete this course will be able to discuss the scientifically supported infection control standards and how infectious diseases are transmitted. They will be able to describe the standards for cleaning, disinfection and sterilization in order to prevent the spread of disease and reduce exposure to infections blood borne pathogens.
