This course covers the risk factors and management of pressure ulcers. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to describe the factors that put patients at risk and you will understand the stages for pressure ulcers. You will also be able to describe the national cost of treating pressure ulcers and common pressure ulcer assessment tools such as Norton and Braden scales.
