RN, LPN Requirement:
24 contact hours every two-year renewal period.

APRN Requirement:
APRNs must complete a minimum of 24 contact hours during the two-year renewal period. 12 of those contact hours are to include continuing education in pharmacotherapeutics. No more than 2 pharmacology contact hours may concern the study of herbal or complementary therapies in order to maintain prescriptive authority.
