If you hover your mouse over the green mark, it will display an information bubble for each board the certificate was reported to. From a mobile device and a computer, the verification can be found by clicking the certificate you'd like to verify so that the certificate preview screen appears. At the top of the certificate will be a status bar that, when clicked, will provide a full summary of the reporting status for that certificate. Please review the following help section articles for information on electronic reporting for the above states: CE Broker Electronic Reporting Pennsylvania Electronic Reporting Alabama Board of Nursing Electronic Reporting NYSED Electronic Reporting
CE Broker Reporting
To enable automated reporting to CE Broker you will need to add your license number to your CEUFast account. To do this, log in to your account and click on the "Edit Profile" link towards the top left of your My Account page (under your name). Scroll down the page to the "My Licenses" section and click the tan "Add License" button. Enter your license information and click the green "Add License" button. When you have successfully enabled reporting for your license with CE Broker, your license number will appear on your My Account page accompanied by a green check mark and a validation message beside it. If you receive a message that your license was not validated, please verify that your license information was entered correctly. Also the first and last name on your CEUFast account must match the first and last name on file with CE Broker for your license information to be validated. Once your license has been enabled on your account, if you have an active subscription, your credits will be automatically submitted to CE Broker. Please Note: Only contact hours are submitted to CE Broker. In-service hours and competency tests are not reported to to CE Broker and will not be displayed in your CE Broker records.
Alabama Board of Nursing Electronic Reporting
Once a user enters their Alabama license number on their account, any certificates of completion will be automatically reported to the Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN). However, if the license number is incorrect, or does not match the information the ABN has on file, credits will not be able to be properly credited. To enable automated reporting to the Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN) you will need to add your license number to your CEUfast account. To do this, log in to your account and click on the "Edit Profile" link towards the top left of your My Account page (under your name). Scroll down the page to the "My Licenses" section and click the tan "Add License" button. Enter your license information and click the green "Add License" button. When you have successfully enabled reporting for your license with the ABN, your license number will appear on your My Account page accompanied by a green validation message beside it. When adding the license number, please ensure the information entered is exactly the same as what appears on the nursing license you possess. It is the user's responsibility to ensure accuracy as we have no way of validating the information electronically with the ABN. If you do not have an active Alabama nursing license, you may be able to self-report your contact hours on their website at https://abn.alabama.gov/MyABNProfile/Account/Login.aspx. Our provider number is #ABNP1485.
Pennsylvania Certificate Reporting
If you are a new applicant applying for licensure or an existing licensee renewing your license, you will need to complete one of two available courses approved by the Pennsylvania Department of State to meet the Child Abuse requirement as follows: Child Abuse: Pennsylvania Mandated Reporter Training - Initial Licensure Child Abuse: Pennsylvania Mandated Reporter Training - License Renewal It is important to note that an active subscription purchase will be required in order to have access to the certificate and to have the ability to report it to the Pennsylvania Department of State. If an active subscription purchase has been made, in order to report the certificate, the red "Report" link will need to be clicked and the required information will need to be supplied. All certificates reported by 6:00pm will be received into the Pennsylvania Department of State database on the same day. Any certificates reported after that time will not post to their system until the following day. Please allow the PA DOS at least two business days to process the certificates they receive.
New York State Certificate Reporting
The New York State Education Department (NYSED) has two course requirements for licensure: Child Abuse: New York Mandated Reporter Training - a one-time requirement to be completed prior to initial licensure. Infection Control and Barrier Precautions - to be completed every other renewal period (every four years). In order to report these courses to the NYSED, you will need to click the report link located next to each course certificate after successful completion and then provide the required information as follows: Last four digits of your social security number. (If you do not yet have a SSN, then enter all zeroes in the field instead) Date of birth License number *for those already licensed Profession Please note: CEUfast does not store any of the required information. It is held only long enough to be sent securely to the NYSED via encryption. Once the transmission has been completed, the information is no longer available in the database for user security.
License Validation Error: Number Will Not Validate
Follow these steps: Log into your CEUfast.com account. From the "My Account" page, click on the "Edit Profile" link on the top left side of the page (under your name). Scroll down the page to the "My Licenses" are and click the "Edit" button located next to the license number you wish to update. Verify that your license number has been entered correctly in the following fields:   The "State" field must match the state applicable to your license. The "Profession Code" field must reflect the alphabetic portion of your license number (i.e. CNA, LPN, PN, RN, etc). The "License Number" field should only contain the numerical portion of your license number. The first and last name on your CEUfast account must match the first and last name on file with CE Broker. If you have received an error stating that your name does not match, please note that many times this can be from a simple formatting difference, such as a space between surnames or a missing hyphen. It can also be caused by a data entry difference. For example, if CE Broker entered your first name as "Jane" and last name as "Doe" but you registered your first name as "Jane Q" (with your middle initial) on CEUfast, you will not be able to validate your license until your first name is updated to "Jane". The first name and last name you register with on CEUFast must match the first name and last name entered by CE Broker exactly in order to enable your license. The "Date Issued" and "Date Expires" fields are not required unless you want to receive reminders that apply to your license renewal. You can obtain both of these exact dates from your state board of nursing license verification website. If you are still unable to enable reporting for your license after following the above steps, please contact us at https://ceufast.com/help/contactus.
CE Broker Not Showing Completed Courses
Once a user enables a valid license on their account, CEUfast provides immediate, automated reporting to CE Broker. For more information on confirmation of reported hours, please see our article Confirming Reported Credits for CE Broker.
Reporting Certificates to CE Broker Without a License
In order to be able to report to CE Broker directly through CEUfast, you must have an existing license with a participating state board. If you are trying to obtain initial licensure, or are licensed in another state and are trying to obtain a nursing license with a participating state board, you will need to check directly with your Board to determine your reporting requirements.
Confirming Reported Credits for CE Broker
If your license has been added and successfully enabled on your CEUfast account, and you have an active subscription, our automated reporting system will submit your credits to CE Broker as soon as you successfully complete a test (score 80% or above). Typically, CE Broker will update your transcripts within two business days of being reported. If you have previously completed credits and have an active subscription, but have not yet added your license, your credits will be reported to CE Broker as soon as you have added and successfully enabled your license on your CEUfast account. Once your license has been enabled, you can verify what credits have been reported to CE Broker by viewing the “Transcript” area on your account home page. However, if you would like to obtain additional information regarding the status of your credits with CE Broker, after having enabled a license on your account, you may do so via:   Personal Account (Free): "Just The Basics" Online: Live Chat Voice: 1-877-434-6323 (Mon - Fri, 8am-8pm ET) Email: support@cebroker.com
Reporting Certificates to a State Board
Most states do not require that you submit your certificates for standard license renewals. Typically, you are required to indicate, in good faith, whether or not you have completed the required continuing education. You may be required to submit your certificates if you are audited or if you are reinstating a lapsed license. This will vary from state to state and we always recommend that you contact your State Board of Nursing to determine your reporting requirements.  Please Note: A subscription is required for electronic reporting to be available. If you have a license with a CE Broker participating state Board, we provide instant, automated reporting through CE Broker. To enable this feature, you will first need to add your license to your CEUFast account. If you have an Alabama license, we report credits instantly and automatically to the ABN directly, if your Alabama nursing license is accurately entered into your CEUFast account.  If you have or are applying for a New York license, we provide immediate, electronic reporting to the NYSED for both the 4-hour infection control and 2-hour child abuse courses. If you have or are applying for a Pennsylvania license, we provide immediate, electronic reporting to the Pennsylvania Department of State for both the 2 and 3 hour required Child Abuse courses. Please Note: Effective July 2, 2016, the Pennsylvania Department of State updates their electronic records once per day at 6:00 pm. Any certificates received after 6:00 pm will not be updated in their system until the following day. Pennsylvania reporting ONLY: In order to report your Pennsylvania Child Abuse course to the Pennsylvania DOS you will need to enter your Date of Birth and the last four digits of your Social Security Number after clicking the "Report" link. The Pennsylvania Department of State requires this information be transmitted to them so that credit for the course is ensured to be associated with the correct participant. For security purposes, WE DO NOT STORE the last four of your social or your date of birth. Once your information is entered, it is transmitted directly to the PA Department of State via a 256bit encrypted secure connection. It is not saved in your CEUfast My Account information. Please Note: Any other states that have proof of completion requirements that are not listed above have not made electronic reporting available.
When are certificates reported to CE Broker?
First, you must add a valid CE Broker participating State Board license to your CEUfast account. Once your license has been enabled, certificates are reported automatically for all active subscriptions when a score of 80% or higher is achieved on a test.
What is CE Broker?

Reporting ACLS, PALS or BLS Credits to CE Broker
As a provider, we can only report credits for courses that we have provided. If you have recently taken your ACLS and PAL initial certification, and would like this to count as credit in this license renewal period, you can manually report the credits on CE Broker's website. If you have not already created an account with CE Broker, you can register free-of-charge and manually report your courses. Please note that if you are attempting to report ACLS or PAL re-certification credits, you will be unable to do so, as only the initial certification can be counted as credit. Since 06/01/2011, you are also unable to report BLS for the initial credit or re-certification credit. If you have any other questions regarding reporting, you can reach the CE Broker help desk at 877-434-6323 or live chat through their site.
Reporting Credits from Another Provider to CE Broker
Unfortunately, there is no way to report credits received from another provider through CEUfast's reporting service. CEUFast is only legally allowed to report credits obtained through CEUFast.com, as every provider is accountable for the courses they provide to their users. The provider that issued your credits should be able to report the credits to CE Broker for you. In some cases, you may be able to manually report your credits to CE Broker. For more information, you can reach the CE Broker help desk at 877-434-6323 or live chat through cebroker.com.
Home Health Aide - Florida CE Broker Reporting
CE Broker does not provide reporting for Home Health Aides (HHAs). The State of Florida does not have a state-administered test for home health aides. There is no state law that requires the licensing or certification of home health aides in Florida. ?For information regarding renewal requirements, the HHA licensee must contact the agency or school that provided them with their training credentials.
