45 hours of continuing education, 15 CEs directly related to their specialties
LPNs are required to complete 30 contact hours every two years. A one-time 4-hour bioterrorism course and
4 hours of cultural competency every renewal is required.
Nevada Minimum annual requirement is 15 Continuing Competency Units (CCUs). Every physical therapist or physical therapy assistant must complete 1.5 Continuing Competency Units of an approved course or activity within the year immediately preceeding his or her application for the renewal of his or her license. These units must include an approved course or one continuing competency activity concerning diversity, equity and inclusion or social justice.
