RN Requirement

The Washington D.C. board of nursing requires 24 hours of continuing education every 2 yearsin the licensee's current area of practice is required. Contact hours must be completed no later than the last day of the biennium.

LPN Requirement

LPNs are required to complete 18 hours of continuing education every 2 yearsin the licensee's current area of practice.Contact hours must be completed no later than the last day of the biennium.
