Meet Oregon CE Requirement Met with Our 6 Hour Pain and Management Course

August 10, 2016

(Lake City, Fla.) If you’re an Oregon nurse trying to meet the latest pain management continuing education requirement in your state, we’ve got you covered.

As you have likely heard by now, all nurses and healthcare providers in your state must complete seven hours of pain management related CEs within 24 months of your first renewal of your license as mandated by the Oregon State Bill 885.

One of those seven CEs must be completed by taking this online course from the Oregon Pain Management Commission: http://www.oregon.gov/oha/OHPR/PMC/pages/index.aspx.

As for the remaining six hours, CEUfast has revised their Pain Assessment and Management Course to make it a 6 hour CE that meets Oregon’s requirement .

After the completion of this course, you will be able to discuss the multidimensional nature of pain, the measurement of pain, implications of pain on the patient, strategies for managing the pain and clinical conditions.

You will also be able to define acute, chronic, nociceptive and visceral pain, as well as drug abuse, drug dependence, drug tolerance and drug addiction.

Remember, this is a one-time requirement and does not have to be repeated for future renewals.

You can explore this course and complete the test at CEUfast.com. To receive your certification, subscribe to CEUfast for $39.

Your subscription covers unlimited CEs for an entire year.
