New Jersey Continuing Education Requirements

Select your profession.

Below are details about continuing education and license renewal in New Jersey. You can skip to your profession by selecting it from the drop down list above.

New Jersey, also known as the “Garden State” is home to some of the best diners in the world, as well as the birthplace of the famous “Taylor Ham” sandwich. It’s close proximity to New York City, makes it a central hub for many people to live in New Jersey and then commute into the city for work.

Let’s say, you live in New Jersey and commute to Manhattan because you work as a nurse in a hospital in the city, there’s a good chance that you cross the George Washington Bridge to get to work. But did you know that the GWB is the busiest motor vehicle bridge in the world? The bridge is a double-decked suspension bridge that crosses the Hudson River. It connects the borough of Fort Lee, New Jersey to the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, making it a popular route for many daily travelers. The bridge was first constructed in 1927, and now sees around 103 million vehicles per year.

Although the GWB isn’t the only way to get into the Big Apple, it’s one of the most famous. So, while you’re visiting New Jersey and decide to drive into the city, be sure to take the George Washington Bridge.
