Course Description

Author:    David Tilton (RN, BSN)

Heart disease is the number one killer in the world, taking the lives of half of all newly diagnosed people within five years. Heart failure, also known as congestive heart failure, occurs when cardiac output is insufficient for the body’s metabolic needs. This course will teach health professionals about the prevalence of heart failure, it’s history, the signs and the classification systems for the disease.
