Exams vs Evaluations

Effective March 11, 2019, CEUfast provides two options for obtaining a certificate (*for approved professions and states only). At the end of each course will appear the choice to take an exam or to complete a self-evaluation explaining how the course material will impact or change your current practice. 

Exams

If you choose to take an exam, you will make that selection and proceed to answer a series of multiple choice questions. Exams must be passed with a minimum of 80% correct in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Evaluations

If you choose to complete the self-evaluation, you will respond to a few questions in regards to the application of the course material in real-world practice.  Once the evaluation questions have all been answered and submitted, a certificate of completion will be provided.

These two methods for obtaining continuing education are those which have been approved through the ANCC.

* The following is a list of professions and states that DO NOT allow for the evaluation method (testing must be completed) as of the last publication of this article. Please verify with your Board if you are required to complete an exam prior to using the evaluation method:
