This course assists the healthcare worker in understanding domestic violence and the mandates about domestic violence that involve healthcare workers. It concludes with strategies for healthcare workers to use in identifying and managing victims of domestic violence.

ATs, OTs and PTs will benefit from this course in all aspects of practice thru improved awareness of domestic violence frequency, screening and the use of supportive conversations with clients, supporting the interprofessional POC with clients that may have suffered domestic violence.

OTA’s and PTA’s will benefit from this course in all aspects of practice thru improved awareness of domestic violence frequency, screening and the use of supportive conversations with clients, supporting the interprofessional POC with clients that may have
