During the time I worked in administration I also worked PRN in my clinical specialty area, emergency nursing. I worked as a courtesy clinical assistant professor for the University of Florida, College of Nursing for four years. For three years I directed a RN residency program which attained accreditation in 2011.
I have been on the President’s Council in the American Nurses Association since 2005 and am also a part of the Florida Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International.
