Michigan Physical Therapist Requirements (PT)

The Michigan Physical Therapy Board requires 24 PDR credits in activities that are of continuing education every 2 years including 1 PDR credit of Pain Assessment and Management.Renewing licensees must complete 1 hour of implicit bias training per year of their license cycle, in addition to the 24 PDR credits. For a 2-year cycle, 2 hours of training are required. There is also a one-time training requirement to identify victims of human trafficking. The Human Traffickingis separate from continuing education (CE).No more than 12 hours may come from home study/online courses.
