Course Description

The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to understand how workplace violence affects nurse and which how to prevent and minimize the effects of workplace violence. A thorough review of the etiology of workplace violence and understanding its classification. By the end of this activity, nurses will be able to describe and implement effective strategies in preventing and managing workplace violence. Also nurses will be able to understand and start implementing strategies set forth by both the ANA and OSHA in their different clinical settings.
