RN, LPN Requirement:
30 contact hours in 2 years immediately preceding license application including workshops, conferences, lectures or other education offerings designed to enhance nursing knowledge, judgment, and skills.

APRN Requirement:
30 hours for RN licensure, 30 additional hours specific to the area of advanced practice specialization, 5 of which must be related to pharmacology. Current certification in specialty will meet requirements for 30 continuing education hours for RN licensure. 400 hours active in practice specialty in 4 years immediately preceding date of application.

LNA Requirement:
12 contact hours per year including conferences, lectures or other education offerings designed to enhance nursing assistant knowledge, judgment, and skills or successful completion of nursing assistant competency test within 2 years of date of application. 200 hours in 2 years immediately preceding date of application, or successful completion of nursing assistant competency test within 2 years of date of application.

MNA Requirement:
4 of the 12 required contact hours for LNA must be related to medication administration. Minimum of 50 hours use of medication nursing assistant knowledge, judgment and skills within 2 years of date of application.
