This July, weve released two new courses: CBC Interpretation, which helps clinicians connect lab values to real-world scenarios, and Headaches and Migraine, offering insight into treatment strategies and patient outcomes. Weve also updated several key courses. Patient Rights, Breastfeeding, and Personal Care of Patients for CNAs and HHAs now reflect the latest clinical standards and guidelines. New Courses
CBC Interpretation
This course provides healthcare professionals with a comprehensive understanding of complete blood count (CBC) components and their clinical relevance. Participants will learn to interpret abnormal CBC results, determine appropriate next steps for further testing, and recognize when specialist referral is warranted.
Headaches and Migraine
This course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge to distinguish between headaches and migraines, including their risk factors, triggers, and classifications. Participants will explore both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options, as well as prognosis and outcome measures for effective patient management.
Revised Courses
Patient Rights
Designed to enhance ethical and effective patient care, this course focuses on patients rights and responsibilities and how to apply them in clinical settings. Participants will gain a clear understanding of key policies, including the Consumer Bill of Rights, advance directives, EHR safeguards, and the Surprise Medical Bills Protection Act.
Breastfeeding
This course provides healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools to effectively support lactating patients through accurate assessment, education, and tailored recommendations. Participants will explore the benefits of breastfeeding, relevant initiatives and laws, barriers to successful breastfeeding, and practical strategies for addressing common challenges.
Personal Care of Patients for CNAs and HHAs
This course prepares Certified Nurses Aides and Home Health Aides to deliver safe, effective personal care within their scope of practice. Participants will review key principles of hygiene, infection control, patient transfers, incontinence management, and pressure sore prevention.
