This course explains why patients may need to receive modified treatment and care based on their age groups. Health care professionals will gain a greater understanding of the physiological differences between a child, an adult, and an older adult, and how to determine each age group’s needs.
They will be able to identify concerns for specific age group and how it can impact clinical interventions, including methods to avoid medication errors in pediatric patients and spotting self neglect among the elderly.
